. . . The More Things Need to Change

by The Undead Rat on August 28, 2008

Two weeks ago I struggled with the problem of what to do with The Lair of the Undead Rat, my readers’ advisory blog which is sponsored by the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library. Before then, all I was doing was copying articles from my other blogs into The Lair. It had no identity of its own.

So I created one.

The Lair feels revitalized and I’ve posted a lot this week. I’m enjoying my time there.

Rusty ships flounderingI enjoy it so much so that I look at With Intent and wonder what happened to it? Where is its identity? Now With Intent feels like its floundering. It lost — or maybe never had — its razor sharp identity. And it needs one if I’m going to take it to the next level.

What do I want to accomplish here?

I’m having trouble conceptualizing it.

What do you think? What would you like to see done here? How can I make your experience with horror fiction better? Leave a comment and let’s talk.
