November is Coffin County Month

by The Undead Rat on November 3, 2008

Welcome to the new look of . . . With Intent to Commit Horror. My plans were to roll out this new look last month but things didn’t quite work out that way. So sorry.

Nevertheless, I’ve begun building the new look and style of With Intent. And as part of that new look, I’d like to turn you attention to the right hand side just under the header. You’ll see a starving little child. This is the book trailer for Gary A. Braunbeck’s Coffin County.

To watch the trailer just click on the arrow in the center of the picture. Be sure to have your speakers on or your headphones plugged in — there is music and dialog.

Next month I’ll have another book trailer up there. And I’ll keep going until I run out of book trailers. Let me know what you think. Do you like the idea or is it for the birds?

The small town of Cedar Hill is no stranger to tragedy and terror. Nearly two centuries ago, when the area was first settled, a gruesome mass murder baptized the town with blood. More recently there was the Great Fire, the notorious night the casket factory burned down, taking an entire neighborhood with it. But no one in Cedar Hill can be prepared for what is to come — shocking murders that grow more horrendous with each victim, and a trail of taunting clues that point to the past . . . and to an old, abandoned graveyard.
