Today (Thursday March 27, 2008) my website “. . . With Intent to Commit Horror” will experience some problems. Parts of it will be unavailable as I improve the author pages and series pages. This should take just a few hours and by the evening I’ll be done. This won’t affect the blog.
I expect the work to be done between mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
If this wasn’t a necessary step to support the growth of the website, I wouldn’t bother doing this. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Local power outages have delayed the start of my upgrade. Figures the electric company would pick the day I plan to upgrade my website as the day they need to replace the transistor boxes with newer equipment (or whatever those big boxes on the wooden poles are).
I shall begin now. Wish me luck.

The major navigation has been updated. Now I have to go through and test the links as well as update the internal links. That should keep me busy and out of trouble for a while.

I believe I am done. There are a couple of new pages to put in the website but I think I’ll take a short break before I do that — lest my brain melts.

Well, that took a lot longer to do than I expected. But the internal links are now all fixed. The website should work. I have a handful of pages that need repair to show the book covers and then it’s on to new content . . . Finally!
