Where is the Undead Rat?

Hunting High and Low

Signposts Besides setting up the . . . With Intent to Commit Horror website. I am also exploring many websites to see what they offer and how they can be used. I have an agenda here. I want to discover new and unique ways to promote authors.

In service to that agenda, I’ll periodically be publishing a list of websites where I’ve set up shop in case you’d like to come in and have a look around. I expect some websites I’ll make a permanent residence while others I’ll check out and eventually leave.

The Undead Rat’s Outposts on the Internet Superhighway of Life:

1.) . . . With Intent to Commit Horror: This is my permanent home.

2.) So Saith The Undead Rat: My blogger blog. So far it is mostly cross-posting stuff.

3.) The Undead Rat’s Blog on Vox: Again more cross-posting but occasionally I put in family stuff.

4.) The Undead Rat’s MySpace: My most successful network forum to date.

5.) The Undead Rat’s FaceBook: This link may not work if you don’t already subscribe to FaceBook.

6.) The Undead Rat’s Twitter Profile: I’m just beginning to learn how to use this. It did introduce me to Chris Brogan who is teaching me a lot about the things I should be doing with social networking.

7.) LibraryThing: This is my profile. Here I am collecting all of the books I own in my library.

8.) GoodReads: This is my profile. Here I am collecting all the books I’ve read, whether I own them or not.

9.) The Undead Rat’s YouTube Account: Here I’ve begun to collect trailers for horror novels as I find them.

10.) The Undead Rat’s ListsofBests: See how many Stoker and IHG award winning novels I’ve read and how many more I have yet to read.

11.) Yahoo Answers: Yes, I’ve even tried my furry paw at Yahoo Answers. Lack of time, more than anything limits my participation here.

12.) 43 Things: Actually the Undead Rat’s profile will let you see 43 Things, 43 People and 43 Places as well as AllConsuming which I haven’t kept up with.

13.) The Undead Rat’s Del.icio.us: This is another neglected tool which I really should be making better use of. I don’t know why it isn’t working for me.

Well, that’s the list for now.

There is a lot out there. I’ve only just scratched the surface. Where do you hang out? Is there a website you think I should be checking out? Drop me a comment and let me know.
